Obamacare buyer’s remorse among Democrat-supporter union is now out in the open. Kinsey Robinson, President of United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers, just released an official statement calling for repeal or complete reform of Obamacare.

Robinson is claiming that although they supported Obama since his first term and advocated for Obamacare, they are finding out the “consequences that are inconsistent with the promise that those who are satisfied with their employer sponsored coverage could keep it”. They discovered that Obamacare is not union-friendly at all. The loss of the members current health benefits, the loss of jobs in the future for their members, “unfair bidding advantage for contractors who do not provide health coverage to their workers” are among the concerns Robinson listed .

Unions contributed $400 million to Obama’s election in 2008 and the Democrat-affiliate Big Labor groups supported Obamacare  in 2009. The marriage between the unions and the Democrat party is a marriage of convenience. While the unions collect forced dues from their members some of it goes to the coffer of  the Democrat party and in return the Democrat party becomes the “lobbying” group that represents the interests of Big Labor. After their full support for Obamacare in 2009, Big Labor groups became majority of thousands of businesses and organizations who joined the Obamacare waiver. Today they are starting to wake up and realize that they too along with others are going to share the inevitable pain and responsibility of Obamacare despite of their connection with Obama and his party.
