The Woolwich terror attack by two black Muslim fanatics who rammed into an off-duty British soldier wearing Help for Heroes t-shirt using their car to him, then dragged him to a wall to hack him to death with their knives and meat cleavers happened 200 yards outside a Woolwich Barracks and also few feet away from Mulgrave Primary school.
Julia and Graham Wilders were driving by at the scene which they thought a car accident just happened until they saw the two black Muslim guys “using meat cleavers to hack him [ soldier] up.” When they joined the bystanders to see what’s going on, Mr. Wilders saw one of the men pulled a gun from behind him and pointed it at a truck driver who quickly got out of the truck and ran.
Then the 50-year-old father who has a 9-year-old son attending the primary school during the attack, saw “a load of kids come out of school gates and I just yelled at them to get back”. Graham ran up to the school to warn them there’s a gunman outside and for everybody to stay inside. The school headmaster David Dixon came out and saw a dead lying in the road and ordered a school lockdown. They closed all the gates and kept all the kids inside. That’s when they heard the police started shooting at the two men who are now in the hospital. As what Mr. Graham said, ” It could have been so much worse, those kids were just feet from the men with the gun.”
