What would Hillary Clinton, Mick Jagger, and Morgan Freeman look like with a facelift? Interactive app reveals how your face will react to plastic surgery
If you’ve ever wondered what you, or anyone else for that matter, would look like with a facelift, there is a smartphone app that can indulge your imagination.
Femail took the app for a test drive to discover what some of our less youthful celebrities would look like if they went under the knife…
Makeover: If Hillary Clinton, 65, (left) were ever to undergo a facelift, her forehead would appear smoother, and the lines between her eyebrows would disappear (right)
Smooth like Jagger: 69-year-old Mick Jagger has his fair share of wrinkles (left), but after being given the virtual facelift treatment, he looks decades younger (right)
The app lets you use a photo from Facebook or from your cell phone photo album.
Once you’ve selected which image you’re going to alter, it lets you adjust the brightness and contrast, before taking you to the facelift part.
In the ‘anti-aging’ options are ‘facelift’, ‘forehead’, ‘frown lines’ and ‘crow’s feet’, which target those specific areas of the face.
Years of sex, drugs and rock and roll have taken their toll on the face of our first guinea pig, Mick Jagger, who is perhaps more wrinkly than the average 69-year-old.
But after being given the virtual facelift treatment, many of his lines were smoothed out and the gauntness of his cheeks had all but disappeared, making him look more youthful.
At 66, Susan Sarandon has aged gracefully, despite a few natural wrinkles and creases here and there.
Post-facelift, however, she resembles a porcelain doll with skin that is almost too flawless.
Hillary Clinton, 65, has said recently that she ‘doesn’t care’ when people make jibes about her appearance, admitting: ‘I learned to take criticism seriously but not personally’.
But if she were ever to undergo a facelift, her forehead would apparently appear smoother, the lines between her eyebrows would disappear and the circles under her eyes would be lifted.
At 91, Betty White is one of the sprightliest older actresses out there.
After we gave her the digital treatment, which included an eyebrow lift, she was actually less attractive than she is in real life.
Freeman, 76, has had a long career of award-winning performances in films like Shawshank Redemption, Se7en, Deep Impact and Million Dollar Baby.
We hope he never goes under the knife, since judging by the facelift app, it would not only eliminate his signature freckles, but the wisdom in his eyes too.
The same applies to 83-year-old Clint Eastwood, who is famous for his rugged, macho looks.
Once we touched up his frown lines, forehead and crow’s feet, the actor appeared disconcertingly feminine.
The free app lets you share the before and after photos via Facebook, e-mail or Twitter.
