Connie Sanders King, 37, (pictured) has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of her fiance, 41-year-old Thomas Colucci
A 37-year-old woman who masterminded the fatal shooting of her fiancee by her estranged husband in November was arrested on Tuesday after maintaining for eight months he was the victim of a random home invasion.
Connie Sanders King was charged
with both felony and premeditated first-degree murder in the death of country music manager Thomas Colucci at their Coffee County, Tennessee, home.
At the time, King claimed that someone broke into their house on Maple Springs Rd, Manchester, before shooting Colucci and beating her up.
However by March police had established King’s estranged husband Troy Lynn King, 41, had shot Colucci dead.
He was charged with first-degree murder as he was trying to flee to Mexico from San Diego.
Now police have new evidence to show Connie King, who moved to Florida to apparently start a new life, was allegedly behind the fatal shooting, possibly motivated by money.
King was arrested on Tuesday morning in front of her ‘shocked’ colleagues at Indian Motorcycles of Daytona where she has worked since March – the month her ex-husband was arrested, according to Daytona Beach News-Journal.

‘My thoughts and prayers are with you, your family and Tommy’s during this terrible tragedy.
‘He spoke so highly of you and how happy he was since you and your kids came into his life.’
