Just the two of us! Britney Spears eschews parties to stroll alone with Everyday Dave on the Fourth of July
PUBLISHED: 21:02 EST, 4 July 2013 |It’s usually a day for parties, and gathering your extended clan around you.
But Britney Spears, 31, was happy to stroll with just her boyfriend Dave Lucado on the Fourth of July without any fanfare.
The platinum blonde looked pretty in denim shorts, a white camisole and a turquoise bikini top.
Her Everyday Dave lived up to his name in plaid shorts, sweater, trainers and snap-back cap.
She has been ensconced in the studio making what she is promising will be her most ‘personal album ever.’
So it was no surprise that Britney Spears was in something of a rush as she headed over to make more music in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon.
‘Really excited 2 give u a taste of my new album,’ she wrote. ‘Can’t wait 2 share what I’ve been working on. Going to be my most personal album ever :)’
Last month, Britney debuted her new single Ooh La La, written for the Smurfs 2 movie soundtrack
‘I have always loved the Smurfs as a kid and now my boys are the biggest Smurfs fans ever,’ Britey said in a statement. ‘I wanted to surprise them with a song in the movie. I know they’ll think it’s Smurftastic!’
And the boys also appear in the music video for the song.
‘My oldest son, Preston, was right on cue every time they would tell him to do something in the video,’ Britney proudly told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS radio show.
‘They play themselves. But when we did the actual shoot of the video, I didn’t see them. I was in hair and make-up, so later on I got to see what they actually did on camera – and it was adorable!’
July 4 is a public holiday in the United States and arguably one of the most enthusiastically celebrated by U.S. citizens.
The day marks the moment in history when America broke free from the rule of the British Empire.
It was on July 4, 1776, that the Declaration of Independence was adopted by delegates to the Second Continental Congress in Philadelphia.
The change came amidst great political upheaval during the American Revolution in which 13 colonies of North American joined forces to legally separate from Great Britain after rejecting royalist rule.
The British Sovereign of the time was King George III.
