A woman from Lake Worth, Florida, was arrested after brutally attacking her mother back on July 4, 2013. The violent attack left her mother severely beaten and WPBF reported on July 10, 2013, that her daughter was found covered in blood after gouging both of her mother’s eyes out with a knife.

 34-year-old Ferna Quesner is facing attempted murder charges along with aggravated domestic battery with a deadly weapon for the attack on her 59-year-old mother, Bionia Quesner. The mother ended up with bleeding in her brain, a broken nose, two broken forearms and the removal of both eyes.

Police state that Ferna had beaten her mother with a white pole that appeared to be a broken lamp stand. After the beating, she proceeded to remove her mother’s eyeballs.

Upon arrival, Ferna was found to have blood all over her t-shirt and her mother was bleeding heavily and unconscious. Ferna then advised deputies:

“I don’t want to go to prison,” she allegedly said in front of the deputies. While pointing toward her mother, she also said, “I was trying to kill the cat and she is the cat.”

The police had received two 911 calls about the incident.

Bionia Quesner’s eyes were found on the kitchen floor of her home near a pool of blood and a 10-pound circular weight covered in blood. She is still in critical condition.

Ferna Quesner is said to be suffering from an unknown mental disorder.
