That’s really bringing the message home: Scorned husband spray-paints furious message on the garage door of a man who had made advances on his wife
By Daily Mail Reporter PUBLISHED: 20 July 2013
In the old days, he probably would have challenged his wife’s admirer to a duel, but instead of a sword, an Illinois man took revenge upon his rival with a can of spray paint.
A Reddituser by the moniker igotskraped shared a photo of a house in Illinois with garage doors tagged with a crystal-clear message for a man who apparently has been making advances to his wife.
‘Don’t e-mail my wife!!!!’ the scorned husband spray-painted in giant, appropriately scarlet letters on the main garage entrance.
On the smaller door to the left he added for emphasis, ‘stop now.’
The vindictive spouse also painted the homeowner’s sconce outside the garage red and decorated the wall with a couple of spray-painted lines, for good measure.
There has been no additional information available about the two men and a woman in this mysterious love triangle.
This is not the first time that a jealous spouse has picked up a can of paint to get the message across.
In June, another Reddit user shared a photo of a house in Washington state with a sheet hung out front bearing the words: ‘Welcome home, cheater.’
Some Internet sleuthing has revealed that the accused philanderer in question was likely a soldier who was among the military personnel who have recently returned home from active duty.
