IMMIGRATION DEBATE: IF IMMIGRANTS BELIEVE THEIR OWN HOME COUNTRY SHOULD HAVE STRICT IMMIGRATION LAWS, WHY CAN’T AMERICA PROTECT ITS BORDERS AND DO THE SAME THING? A LOOK AT THE STRICT IMMIGRATION LAWS OF MEXICO THAT THEY DON’T WANT AMERICANS TO READ

The United States of America has always been a land of immigrants . But there’s a different attitude from the new wave of immigrants that’s been coming to the country in the recent decades thanks to the voter-hungry kowtowing politicians in Washington D.C. who set the tone on how the new immigrants should behave inside the country.

America has been  a country of immigrants for more than 200 years. From the Pilgrims, to the influx of other English, Scots Irish,  French, Africans, the Irish Catholics, the Germans, the Jews, Russians,  other Eastern Europeans, Chinese, Filipinos, Mexicans and today from all parts of the world. America is unique because it is the only country in the world that  makes people desire to come here  to partake and achieve the “American Dream“. You never hear of British Dream, or Russian Dream, or Chinese Dream, or Cuban Dream, or North Korean Dream. Given a chance, anybody will come to America because America has become the world’s ultimate dream.

The old world back then was a system of kings, lords, serfs and peasants. You are born into a status you have no way of getting out. But America changed that. The Founding Fathers built a new world order wherein man will be granted freedom to enjoy his liberty, his rights and his own individual way of pursuing his happiness. His success and his failure will be determined by him alone, by his ambitions, his hard work and his determination in life. The right and freedom to prosper or to be mediocre was given to everyone with the understanding that the role of the government, through the Constitution, is to protect equal rights and not to provide equal things for the newcomer. Because of that, milllions abandoned the lands their ancestors lived for centuries, came to America with nothing but hope and dreams and willingness to work hard, not to be idle knowing there’s no king or lord who will take care of them. The Founding Fathers experiment turned America into something never seen in world history before. America became the “LAND OF THE FREE” and the “HOME OF THE BRAVE”.

People all over the world were willing to shed their old nationalities to become American, because being an American is not about skin color. Being an American is a mind set of love for liberty and individual responsibility, hard work ethic, love for God and country, having a can-do-attitude when others wilt, always aspiring for the best, finding breakthroughs and innovations, being a blessing, not a burden, just being the best that you can be. Those are the original rules for the original American Dream.

But the immigrants today are different from before. Thanks to liberal indoctrination, they are not expected to sheld their former nationalities, to assimilate and learn about the country and its history, to speak English as their language and most of all, they have a view of the government as the provider of the “American Dream”. The low income immigrants today don’t believe in the original American Dream. When the Democrat Party came knocking on their door to tell them government goodies is the new meaning of American Dream, they could not refuse the offer. Today, in exchange for votes, they’ve latched on to the Democrat party believing its every promise. The new immigrants are pledging their allegiance not to the Constitution and to the American flag but to their new found daddy, the Democrat party. The Hispanic votes reelected Obama and the Democrats know, in exchange for future  votes, they have to clinch their position as the daddy and provider of the new “American Dream”.  The Founding Fathers warned about time when people will be voting for equal things, not for equal rights and the Democrat party, from FDR to Obama, has ushered and  mastered that task.
