The June issue of the Economist magazine is featuring on its cover both U.S. President Barack Obama and Chinese President Xi Jinping posing like the two gay characters in the 2005 gay cowboy movie ” Brokeback Mountain“. Let’s see how much noise this controversial cover will create. If the media decides this is a non-issue, good for Obama and bad for the Economist. But if the media will decide this is ‘scandalous’ and decides to give the cover photo its 15-minute fame, then let’s see what’s going to happen.
