Night Stalker serial killer who terrorized California with a spree of satanic murders dies in hospital after 24 years on death row

• Ramirez was convicted in 1989 of 13 murders and later tied to several more. He was a self-proclaimed follower of Satan
• His trial was a horror show in which jurors heard about one victim’s eyes being gouged out and another’s head being nearly severed

Richard Ramirez, the demonic serial killer who left satanic signs at murder scenes and mutilated victims’ bodies during a reign of terror in the 1980s, died early Friday in a hospital, a prison official said. Ramirez, 53, had been taken from San Quentin’s death row to a hospital where authorities said he died of liver failure.

He had been housed on death row for decades and was awaiting execution, even though it has been years since anyone has been put to death in California. He was convicted in 1989 of 13 murders, five attempted murders, 11 sexual assaults and 14 burglaries, which terrorized Southern California in 1984 and 1985. His charges included rape, sodomy and oral copulation.

“WALKING DEAD” ACTRESS ARRESTED FOR SENDING RICIN-TAINTED LETTERS TO OBAMA AND BLOOMBERG

DALLAS (AP) — A pregnant Texas actress who told FBI agents her husband had sent ricin-tainted letters to President Barack Obama and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg has been arrested for orchestrating the scheme herself, law enforcement officials said Friday.

It was not immediately clear what charges would be filed against Shannon Guess Richardson of New Boston, Texas, a mother of five who has played bit roles in television shows. Two U.S. law enforcement officials confirmed her arrest to The Associated Press but spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly during the ongoing investigation.

FBI agents wearing hazardous material suits were seen going in and out of her house Wednesday in New Boston, about 150 miles northeast of Dallas near the Oklahoma and Arkansas borders. Officials have said the search was initiated after Richardson contacted the FBI and implicated her husband, Nathaniel Richardson.

BRISTOL PALIN AND JOAN RIVERS TO APPEAR ON “CELEBRITY WIFE-SWAP”

 

LOS ANGELES, June 7 (UPI) — U.S. television personality Bristol Palin and comedian Joan Rivers are to appear together on the family docu-series “Celebrity Wife Swap,” ABC announced. Since neither woman is married, Palin, 22, will temporarily trade her 19-year-old sister Willow for 79-year-old Rivers’ daughter Melissa, 45.

“Bristol and Willow Palin reside in Wasilla, Alaska with Bristol’s 4-year-old son, Tripp, who rules the roost,” ABC said in a synopsis Thursday. “What Tripp says goes in the Palin household,” the network said. “When Melissa Rivers arrives in Wasilla, she’s surprised to see snow on the ground — in May! Meeting Willow and Tripp, Melissa finds it a challenge to deal with Tripp’s boyish exuberance, and feels that he needs to have a set daily routine.

“Aunt Willow is no help when it comes to discipline, and in fact is often the instigator behind Bristol’s back. Joined as defendants in the suit, which primarily is based on violations of the 1^st, 4^th, and 5^th amendments to the U.S. Constitution, are President Barack Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder, the U.S. Justice Department, Director Keith B. The individual defendants are being sued in their personal capacities under the Supreme Court “Bivens” precedent of 403 U.S. 388 (1971), which permits aggrieved persons to sue government officials when their constitutional rights are violated.

“Here, there is no doubt that this massive illegal seizure had to be authorized and approved at the highest levels of the executive branch, which necessarily leads to the president, attorney general and the director of the NSA. These violations of free speech, prohibitions against unreasonable search and seizure, and due process rights are unprecedented in American history. They make the fictional scenarios depicted in the literary works of  George Orwell’s ‘Big Brother’ and Ayn Rand’s ‘Atlas Shrugged’ look tame, particularly when coupled with other burgeoning government scandals concerning the IRS, the equally illegal seizure of phone records of Fox News and AP, and other abuses of power. It would appear that Obama and his government ‘yes men’ know no constitutional bounds, and the courts are no longer ‘independent’ such that they will protect American citizens from this tyranny. This is why Roger Vinson, the judge of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, has also been sued in his personal capacity.  His actions are as despicable as those of Obama, Holder, Alexander and Verizon. The National Security Agency and the FBI have been pulling personal data directly from the main servers of nine top U.S. tech giants as part of a top-secret initiative dubbed PRISM, it was revealed today.

The Washington Post, which broke the news Thursday, reported that for the past six years, U.S. intelligence agencies have been extracting audio, video, photos, e-mails, documents and other information to track people’s movements and contacts.

The Silicon Valley companies involved in the PRISM program are Apple, Facebook, Microsoft, Google, Yahoo, YouTube, Skype, AOL and the lesser known Internet company PalTalk, which has hosted a lot of traffic during the Arab Spring and the on-going Syrian civil war.
