Even little children are worthy targets of the dreaded photobomb, but by famous basketball players?

While half buried in a gorgeous Hawaiian beach, three frolicking children posed for a photo.

Their trio became a party of four when Oklahoma City Thunder forward Nick Collison leapt into the frame and was snapped, in mid-air, behind the smiling children.

 Captioned ‘Best photobomb yet?’ the playful NBA player posted the fun photo to his Instagram account three days ago.

 None of his other photos appear to be of the visual gag, but if his user photo on the picture sharing social media site is any indication, Collison is an all around jokester.

In it, the clean shaven baller has been digitally manipulated to look as if he’s grown a giant beard and impossibly long afro hairdo.

Several of Collison’s Instagram followers wrote in answer to his questioning caption, including user alecia8, who responded:

‘By far…best photobomb EVER!!’
