The trend is called Christian Domestic Discipline and much of what is known about the practice is published on the website Learning Domestic Discipline, published by husband and wife CDD duo, Clint and Chelsea.
Clint and Chelsea didn’t come up with the trend, but they did write the book on it – a 50-page packet on the practice called Beginning Domestic Discipline.

A letter in which George Washington offers his positive views on the newly drafted Constitution has sold for $1.4 million in New York.
It was written during the contentious debate over the document’s ratification. A private collector offered it for sale at Christie’s on Friday.
Christie’s says the seven-page letter was bought by an anonymous phone bidder for $1,443,750. Bidding was between the phone bidder and a woman in the room. Dated April 25, 1788, the letter is addressed to Revolutionary War officer John Armstrong.
Washington writes that he doubts “whether the opposition of the Constitution will not ultimately be productive of more good than evil.” He also says the framers of the Constitution “have given the rights of man a full and fair discussion.”

Yahoo! News issued a correction Friday evening after a reporter mistakenly referred to Kenya as President Barack Obama’s birthplace. A piece on Obama’s upcoming trip to Africa by Rachel Rose Hartman included a lede that echoed sentiments heard among the “birther” movement. “President Barack Obama makes the first extended trip to Africa of his presidency next week—but he won’t be stopping in the country of his birth,” Hartman originally wrote.
The screengrab below captures the error:
Approximately 90 minutes after the piece was published — and after several commenters identified the error — the lede was revised to refer to Kenya as Obama’s “ancestral homeland” and the article now includes a correction.
The #TalibanHitSongs hashtag Twitter contest last Thursday may have been laugh-out-loud funny to many but definitely not to the Taliban coddler from the left who were so horrified and upset when they read the ‘racist’ titles they just don’t think it’s even slightly funny. With their eyes were bulging and mouth wide open, the left hurriedly called the PC Police 911 to report such racist behavior and went to tweet their outrage. Below are the laughs and as far as what the twitterpated critics have said, just visit Twitter and Twitchy as they got them all for you.

SEATTLE – An ad on Seattle buses placed by the FBI that shows the faces of 16 wanted terrorists is racist, because all of the men appear to be Muslim, charges Rep. Jim McDermott, D-Wash.
McDermott is known to some critics on the right as “Baghdad Jim” for stating on Iraqi soil in the run-up to the war that he essentially trusted dictator Saddam Hussein more than President Bush, whom he called a liar. The trip later was discovered to be financed by Saddam’s intelligence agency. When Saddam was captured, the congressman accused the administration of having waited until the opportune time politically to seize the Iraqi leader.

The analysis, which scoured the transcripts of Carney’s briefings since February 2011, discovered that the press secretary has developed 13 favorite tactics to shut down or defer an unwanted inquiry.
His favorite? ‘I don’t have the answer.’ He’s used a variation of that one more than 1,900 times.
